I answer to myself.

It seems that lpr ignores mc if it appear on a master's printer printcap
entry. If I add the mc entry to lpd.conf it works fine.

On the other hand LPRNG 3.6.12 (potato) has a bug and balancing queues
don't deal correctly with multiple copies. LPRNG 3.8.12 (woody) works
fine.
