Dude,

I seriously think that you got the short end of the stick. debian-user
usually floods my mailbox and yes, it does seem to be quiet, lot of
people must be on holiday or something but those who are here, really do
try to help (sometimes even when most of the list consider the question
to the rude or misplaced, badly worded or whatever)
