ext3 is just ext2 plus a journal file, so fdisk, which doesn't read
filesystems, just manipulates partition tables, doesn't need to be able
to tell the difference. There might be a version of fdisk that creates
partitions labeled ext3, but it doesn't matter, because ext3 is just
ext2 plus a special file.
