xterm and cp850?

Hi all!

I've got a problem with an old cobol application running in a xterm. It
uses (a DOS typical) CP850 for output, so characters like german "umlauts"
are not displayed correctly.

Is there a way to map the xterm to cp850? I read about converting fonts
to cp850, but there were no real examples on how to provide this...
