can't get user list from Samba as PDC

Hello everybody,

I'm trying to set up a Samba as a PDC for my Microsoft net. My clients are able to logon, change passwords and access the shares on the server.

The problem is that my clients can't share directories using the option "user secure list": I got a message: "You cannot view the user list at this time". So my clients are unable to share resources using the features of PDC.

I'm the begging I was using the Debian 2.2r5 updated, but I got the information that only Samba 2.2 series have this feature. I didn't find a stable package for Samba with this release, so I upgrade the system to "Woody" (with Samba 2.2.3).

I can send you my smb.conf if necessary.

Thank you all,
Alceu
