RE: PPP dial-up problem

Have you just upgraded you kernel 2.4? I did and afterwards I tried to dial
up and got the same error, a search tells me the problem is that when you
upgrade your kernel you also need to upgrade pppd. I haven't tested it yet
but I think it will work

Subject:	PPP dial-up problem

hi all,

i'm having trouble connection using ppp dial-up. when
i look at /var/log/ppp.log i see the following message
just before the connection i taken down:

Serial connection established
Coulndn't attach tty to ppp unit 0: Invalid argument

so it looks like the chat script succeeded, but
something failed with pppd. i just use the command
'pon' to connect. can someone explain why a tty needs
to attach to ppp and what i have to do to fix it.
