weird, weird. I'm stubled.
I used to work just for root. That is root could play sound. Now I added
myself to the group audio. However xmms seems to crash now both for root
and normal user.
Checked the modules. Apparantly sound was gone.
I now have these modules, can somebody comment.
jeroen:~# lsmod
Module Size Used by Not tainted
sound 52876 0 (unused)
parport_pc 25160 1 (autoclean)
lp 6400 1 (autoclean)
parport 21664 1 (autoclean) [parport_pc lp]
es1371 27840 1
gameport 1308 0 [es1371]
ac97_codec 9568 0 [es1371]
soundcore 3236 6 [sound es1371]
usbcore 48032 0 (unused)
apm 9148 0
agpgart 29824 0 (unused)
Also weird is that I don't have a dsp0 device nor audio0, is this
normal?
