neighbour table overflow, lo device is up

Hello,

on my system, pentium with intel d845gbvl mainboard, 3com 3c905C-TX Fast 
Ethenet (module 3c59x) I get a lot of the following error messages:
  ...
  NET: 1044 messages suppressed.
  Neighbour table overflow.
  Neighbour table overflow.
  ...

Loopback device is up and running. ifconfig shows:

Changing the network card to an other type didn't help. 

Has anybody an idee?
