A happy Debian user
First of all, I am not (yet) subscribed, but I review the list archive
nearly every day. Is it considered OK to post questions or comments to the
list without being subscribed?
Second, I would like to tell everyone involved that I think Debian is
fabulous. I am not a computer specialist of any sort, although I used to do
some hobbyist programming under BeOS. When BeOS died for good, I decided to
give Debian a try, and I have never looked back. It has been a wonderful
learning experience, despite a few difficulties and bumps. I t is most
definitely _not_ "too difficult" for anyone who is willing to do a little
reading. I 've even convinced my four year old daughter that the "Penguin
Computer" is a lot more fun than Windows (my wife remains a little more
skeptical).
Anyway, a big thanks to everyone involved.
