If you do not export HOME, the value will only affect the current
shell. But child processes won't get the previous value of HOME.
I think that it is better to fix the script so that it doesn't rely
on HOME.
Also, you should have the same problems when you run the script
manually, so it would be surprising that this comes from the value
of HOME.
