I found (a message from xpert@xfree86.org) if i type 'tty' in
the first xterm, it will tell you the name of the controlling
terminal (something like /dev/pts/0), then you can:
  echo -n "teletransmitter works" >/dev/pts/1
and see it in the second xterm.
