I think the equivalent of ext2's fsck on reiserfs is "reiserfsck --rebuild-tree".
I'm not sure how often you should check (reiserfsck --check) your reiserfs
filesystems, but thing is, it should be done manually. Maybe once a month would
be sufficient for doing the checking (and then rebuild the trees if the check
tells you to do so).
