You don't appear to understand what Galeon is.
Galeon is a browser ("the web, only the web") based upon Mozilla. Galeon
*requires* mozilla-browser to be installed.
There will never be a Galeon browser, the point is that you have the
choice to pick your own mail client. I use Evolution, which I find a
very good email client.
