Can someone help me recover here? I "meant" to do this: rm -r /tmp/* but instead I deleted the whole /tmp directory and now when I enter my user name and password I get thrown back to the graphical login screen. I am using Debian Woody and would appreciate any help because I am clueless on how to recover. Thanks.
