cs46xx sound again

Hi,

Thanks to Nate, I'm past the IRQ conflict.  (Stroke of genius: move cards
around, ah!)

But the output is still "muted".  How do I crank up a sound card?  Control
the balance?  Find something like "amixer"?

soundcore
ac97_codec

Where are the docs for this type of thing?
