Changing key map for ctrl-alt-plus (changing resolution in X)

Hi - I have a keyboard that does not have a numeric keypad. This has not
been a problem until now - I need to be able to change screen resolution in
X easily and quickly.

The way I have always changed screen resolution in the past has been to use
crtl-alt-plus (numeric).

Does anyone have any ideas how I can change the key mappings for this to
ctrl-alt-plus (non-numeric)? Or is there another way of changing resolution
easily without having to change XF86Config and restarting X?

(damn, this is irritating!)

thanks

Stephen
