Ever since I first set up my box updatedb has always run on a semi-regular basis and kept the locate db updated. Recently, it appears to have stopped doing this. Every 8 days or so when I try to "locate" something, I get a warning that the db is 8 or more days old. Is there a cron job that should be doing this that I can look at, or is it handled via something else? TIA. -Alex
