DRI not accessable by normal user?

I can not access the dri as a normal user. But wait:

 - yes, dri and glx modules are loaded
 - yes, permissions are setup correctly (i think) 
	
	crw-rw-rw-    1 root     root     226,   0 2002-08-28 22:26 /dev/dri/card0
 -> i was using the permission setting in XF86Config-4
 
 - i can access the dri as a super user: glxinfo
 	direct rendering: Yes
	but as a normal user:
	direct rendering: No

What did I made wrong??
