- aptitude, deity. Maybe even tasksel, though that's not exactly what you want. Personally, I just use apt-{get,cache}. - You could write a script to do that. Get the package's dependencies and try to remove them with dpkg. That will fail when some other package depends on the one you are trying to uninstall. It's something ugly, but I can't think of another way. - dpkg -P|--purge, maybe?
