RE: Crashes during daily cron job.

i ran the command run-parts --verbose /etc/cron.daily

this is the command that cron is running at 6:25

the first time i ran it, it went fine, the second time i did it, it crashed
when running the script /etc/cron.daily/standard

as for hardware... we have been using this server for about 2 years now with
slackware, and have had NO hardware probs. Not even the good ol signal 11
error from gcc (which was a symptom of bad memory)

Hardware? Weird things can happen if you overclock or the hardware
breaks. You can try running the daily cronjob yourself and see when it
breaks.
If it's random, then it would mean hardware.
