Re: Woody: Creating bootable install CD image w/ 2.4.19 kernel

Ok, I did all that but that package still does not exist.
blondie:/# apt-get install boot-floppies
Reading Package Lists... Done
Building Dependency Tree... Done
Package boot-floppies has no available version, but exists in the database.
This typically means that the package was mentioned in a dependency and
never uploaded, has been obsoleted or is not available with the contents
of sources.list

get & use boot-floppies package. It has options for building bootable CD.

And if apt-get install boot-floppies doesn't work, add deb-src http://http.us.debian.org/debian stable main contrib non-free
to your sources.list file ('contrib non-free' probably redundant in this
context), and do 'apt-get update && apt-get install boot-floppies'. And
note that, because it's a source package, it will just be unpacked below
whatever directory you're in when you get it. Patrick
