Q: No mod_perl with apache2 ?

Howdy all y'all,

  I tried to upgrade my local apache installation from 1.3.x to 2.0,
which kind of worked out (I even understood the
/etc/apache2/[mods|servers]-[available|enabled] mechanism in less the
one hour :-), and all my cgis run fine. Now I wanted to learn mason,
which requires mod_perl, which is not part of the standard apache2
installation and does not seem to be available within any other package.
  Now the questions: 
 - Can I use the 1.3.x mod-perl package? I gues not. 
 - Is there a 2.0 mod-perl package which I didnt find? 
   If so, could somebody please point me to it?
