I haven't tried running Netscape, but I've noticed a significant number
of lockups since I switched to 2.4.19. I'm using Nvidia closed-source
drivers with the Twinview feature, and I think that might be involved,
but it seemed to be fine under 2.4.18. This isn't really the same as
your problem, but you're not the only one having lockups with 2.4.19.
BTW, I'm using Sid with ext3 partitions.
