Maple 7: memory trouble

Bonjour,

I encounter a strange problem with maple 7 under potato.

I am using the LinearAlgebra package to make intensive linear computation (hardware, i.e., datatype=float[8] and Digits=15):
whereas `bytesalloc' seems to remain constant,
the memory effectively used (according to Linux tools)
drastically increases in such a way that after a while Maple breaks
with an `ran out of memory' error message.

Did I miss something ?
How can we avoid it ?
Is it a Maple or a Debian affair ?

Thanks in advance,
Jerome BENOIT
