Chown root:video failed

Hi!

I have updated packages some days ago and it was a
big update (~50 Mb) with dselect.

I have saw that in one moment there was an error
"Chown root:video failed".

This happened because I deleted video group
(I had not know than why Debian have so many
groups).

But I would like to know which program tryed to change
it. I have not video hardware so I think that it
should
be some of the basic programs. Which deal with video?
Or maybe it was makedev?

And how can I remake all those groups?

Mike
