I'm attempting to install the VTK CISG Registration Toolkit [1], which requires VTK 4.0. The CISG compilation fails in such a way that I suspect my VTK 4.0 installation is mucked up. Does anyone know if there are working VTK 4.0 debs lurking out there somewhere?
