debian is not commercial, so there is not much advertizing.
I recently saw an ad of LinuxLand (http://www.linuxland.de) who now offer
a woody CD set. Quite expensive though, 50 EUR.
I hope the magazines will bring it when it is officially released.
Or get a friend who has a DSL connection. Ask him (or her) to download the
ISO images and burn them for you. Invite her to a cup of coffee in return.
A very good debian handbook can be found at
http://www.openoffice.de/linux/buch .
I don't know, however, if there is an English version of it.
