Re: Java plugin for Mozilla 1.0
Since Java is not Software Libre, it's not part of the regular Debian distribution.
Edit your file and add the line
deb ftp://ftp.tux.org/pub/java/debian woody non-free
then an apt-get install jre1.3 or
apt-get install jdk1.3 should do the trick.
