Install odbc-postgresql and read the unixodbc.HOWTO in
/usr/share/doc/odbc-postresql. You should be able to do it from
there.
Installing OpenOffice.org1.0 on Woody would probably be done by
unpacking the tar file and running install/setup /net as root and then
as user run the setup from the location where you installed openoffice
the as root (e.g. /usr/local/OpenOffice.org1.0/).
