You shouldn't need to build this module.  Do, however, make sure you
have "Direct Rendering Manager (XFree86 DRI Support)" enabled (under
"Character Devices") in your kernel configuration, and that you select
"3dfx Banshee/Voodoo3+" in the list of drivers below that.
