Use Exim, it's the easiest for a new admin to use (and a joy for old
hats).  In /etc/exim/exim.conf, you should have something along the
lines of the below...

host_accept_relay = 127.0.0.1 : 192.168.0.0/16

Look back in the last few days archives for how to set exim up for
ASMTP.  There's several methods.
