RE: Problem with gethostbyaddr while trying to run commercial app



It seems to have worked, thanx! Next step is to try the public IP address as
this
is part of a distributed system.

Anyone have an idea of the cause of this strange behaviour?

Im not practically sure, i encountered this problem a long time ago.

try changing your hostname to 127.0.0.1

and re-run your app.
