I have made /etc/pam.d/exim with:

#%PAM-1.0
auth       required     pam_unix.so
account    required     pam_unix.so

But I (still) get 334 535 Incorrect authentication
data.

Should I change anything more?

(I use Pegasus Mail and I add both PLAIN and LOGIN
sections)
