Hi,

I use the commands "apt-get update && apt-get -u dist-upgrade" when I

So how do I tell apt to tell me what it is getting exactly ? Thanks

From your output, apt-get update hasn't finished yet so apt-get dist-upgrade isn't getting anything yet. Also, what exactly is:
http://security.debian.org woody/updates/non-free Packages?
Someone more knowledgeable than me can feel free to correct me, but the whole reason that woody hasn't been released is that it isn't on security.debian.org yet.
