Pcmcia-cs package

Hi,

I had installed Debian linux (potato version) on my NEC versa laptop
together with the pcmcia-cs package. My Xircom pcmcia modem was
recognised as ttys1 and I could connect to the internet.

Later I install an external modem to a serial com port (ttys0) for
internet connection and I removed the pcmcia-cs package through
"dselect". Recently I reinstall the pcmcia-cs and my pcmcia modem was
detected. There is no config file in /etc/pcmcia. Please advise.

I purchase a Xircom ethernet card and I wanted to connect to my office
network. How can I setup both the pcmcia cards to be recognised by the
system? I have a serial com port and two pcmcia slots.

Thank you
