Here's how I chose to deal with the problem, I added the following lines to my 
.procmailrc file

# This butt-munch thinks he's being cute.
:0
* ^From:.*ponik@prover\.sk
/dev/null

Of course, his stupid waste of resources should be dealt with, but in the 
meantime, we end-users do have ways of alleviating the pain.
