Not sure what you mean here.  What is the/an audio group.

*nix allows you to do things in the system based on who you are and/or what groups you belong to. To see what groups you belong to, you can type "groups" at a command line. To add yourself to a group, type (as root) "addgroup [yourusername] [thegroupname]". For example, to add yourself to the audio group, you'd type "addgroup glen audio". This won't take effect until you log out and log back in. You could alternatively edit the /etc/group file directly, which is easier if you're adding several users to a group all at once. See "man addgroup" for more info.
