Usually straightforward translations of the entities and tags into Spanish are good enough. That's how I learned SGML and XML -- my mother language is Portuguese.
BTW, do you know there are debian-user-portuguese and debian-user-spanish lists where you may get more directed help? Check http://debian.org./MailingLists/.
