If you install with "simple" option and never run "dselect" in potato,
there will be no gpm.

If you run "dselect" in potato, it automatically select "gpm" due to its
priority.

In woody, I think "gpm" may loose priority (or maybe already lost
priority) so you may have to select in "dselect or do "apt-get install
gpm" to install it.  There were some discussion on that matter at
debian-devel ML.

I love "gpm" : )
