Running Yahoo Messenger??

Hi All

I have downloaded n installed ymessenger(sid version),
from yahoo, for my Debian 3.0. After running the
utility, the program asks for yahoo id and not the id
for my HTTP proxy, which I have set it in the program
already. 

Any Hints?
