Re: MPEG video recorder



For video encoding I try always to use transcode. Its a really amazing 
program. Basically, I think its a magic box where you set an input and an 
output codec, and that's it. Of course, it supports MPEG encoding. Even it
uses (I'm not sure on this) the fame encoder, according to them, its so fast 
that mplayer uses it for decoding video from every format, and reencoding it 
to mpeg (in real time) to send it to MPEG1/2 decoder boards.
