I had to put 4.2 (still not in a Sid deb <grumble>) on my notebook. I did
the binary install on top of the 4.1 that was on there. All the dependencies
are still there, so installs/upgrades of X apps work fine.
And when 4.2 comes out in deb, I'll just apt-get that.
