I am pleasantly surprised to find that it does not, and simply appears in its own top-level Win32 frame if X is not running. Nice. Now I have to figure out how to configure it (~/.Xresources, I assume?). At the very least, I want the scroll bar on the right, the colors set to white text on black, a larger window, and a nicer font. "man rxvt", I suppose. Thanks. Craig
