RE: question about /bin utils



Woah my bad..  not /usr/local/bin..  /usr/bin.  And yes I do have ae and
ed in my /bin.  I'd like to think that they could have given me vi too
though :)

Um, debian's policy specifically disallows putting anything in
/usr/local other than empty directories.  Are you sure?  If so, what was
there?

and note I said an editor, not vi.  You should have had nano or ae
installed.
