My vague recollection of some article or changelog is that it is
in the works, but not yet done. Maybe 2.4.19 or 2.4.20... ??
If I remember correctly, it sounded like this was something most
people thought was a good idea (since it will probably be some
time before a 2.6 or 3.0 or whatever they call it).
