LPRng printing control file file I think.

Hi,
I'm having a bit of a problem with my printer,HP LaserJet 1100.
I should also note that I'm on a Redhat distro.For those who are
still with me here is my problem.
Every time I print a job the first page also has this printed and the 
staitcase effect.

When every I try to print a large document useing gv I can only print
one page at a time. If I try to print more the first and second page
print then my print hanges. I then clear it outthe printer by removing 
the job
with lprm and clearing my print. I the start on the page that was
hung and it prints. I spent last night print the
LPRng PrinterCookbook, but that didn't have anything I thought
would help. I would like to print the HOW-TO, but that's a heafty
document. Your adice is wanted.
