I think it would be nice to install gdm; and then have the SystemMenu=1
in the gdm.conf. Works nice for woody; for sid, you'd have to make use
sudo (for "gdm" user to be able to shutdown).
BTW, don't use ctrl-alt-del; you'd be confused whether you are currently
using Linux or Windows.
