Hi, Traced problem to broken wire. Sorry, plugged in another mouse and we were away, no change on settings would make this one go. Suspicious look to area of cable 6" out of mouse which tester showed failed continuity test, so am going to resolder to board just now. I think my cat had been playing with it. Thanks.
