The Debian installation disks/CDs also double as recovery CDs. You can
use it to install the system (by following the screens), or you can
switch to a different console (with Alt-F2) and enter a shell to
restore a system.

The fourth CD is most likely the `non-free' CD which contains programs
that cannot be freely distributed. You don't need that for a first
install. (Although it contains some useful programs.)
You can check on http://cdimage.debian.org if they provide a download.

If you have internet access, you can specify that you want the
non-free packages in the post-installation.

In cfdisk, create the partitions. For the swap partition, you need to
change the partition type to `linux swap'. Press `t', scroll down the
list of partition types, and accept the default (82). When offered the
choice to initialize the swap partition, you should be able to select
it.
