apt-get update: Could not connect...
Hello.
When I want to update Packages.gz files by "apt-get update",
I can see messages like:
Could not connect to http://ftp ...
Err http://ftp ...
Something wicked happend resolving 'ftp ...
Err http://ftp ...
but I can browse on these servers by lynx.
Where is a problem?
My /etc/apt/app.conf file is:
=============================start=of=apt.conf========================
// $Id: apt.conf,v 1.43 1999/12/06 02:19:38 jgg Exp $
/* This file is a sample configuration file with a few harmless sample
options.
*/
APT
{
// Options for apt-get
Get
{
Download-Only "false";
};
};
// Options for the downloading routines
Acquire
{
Retries "0";
http
{
Proxy "http://proxy.ynet.sk:8080/"
};
};
// Things that effect the APT dselect method
DSelect
{
Clean "auto"; // always|auto|prompt|never
};
DPkg
{
// I don't want to use force-downgrade..
Options {"--force-overwrite";}
}
// Pre-configure all packages before they are installed.
// (Automatically added by debconf.)
DPkg::Pre-Install-Pkgs {"/usr/sbin/dpkg-preconfigure --apt";};
==============================end=of=apt.conf=========================
(P.S.: How can I use "http/1.1" not only "http/1.0" ?)
